KVKK Privacy Notice

Under Article 10 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we inform you about how your personal data is processed.

Personal data processed
Identity: a randomly generated anonymous user ID.
Customer transactions: credit balance, try-on and purchase records.
Transaction security: device verification token, transaction times.
Visual data: camera feed processed in real time during live try-on (not recorded, not used for identification).
Usage information: anonymous in-app events.
Purposes
Providing live try-on, managing credits and payments, ensuring information security and preventing abuse, improving the service, and complying with legal obligations.
Legal grounds
Necessity for the performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c), compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç), and our legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f).
Your explicit consent for transferring your try-on video to our AI provider abroad and for the provider's possible use of that data to improve its models (Art. 5/1 and Art. 9). You can withdraw consent anytime in Settings; live try-on will then be unavailable.
Transfers
Your personal data is transferred to service providers whose servers are located abroad: Decart (AI), Google Firebase (infrastructure, EU), Apple and RevenueCat (payments), PostHog (anonymous statistics, EU). It may be shared with competent public authorities where legally required.
Collection method
Data is collected electronically and automatically while you use the app.
Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to, request correction if incomplete or inaccurate, request erasure or destruction, request that these actions be notified to third parties, object to outcomes against you arising solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
How to apply
Send your requests to destek@giyio.app. We will respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest. You can also delete your data directly with the “Delete my data” option in the app.
