In short

You don't need an account; the app gives you a random, anonymous ID.

Your camera feed is not stored on our servers. It is only sent to our AI provider during a live try-on.

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

What we process

Anonymous user ID: a random ID created automatically when you first open the app. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.

Credits and transactions: your remaining try-ons, number and time of try-ons, and packs you've purchased.

Your live camera feed: sent in real time to our AI provider only while a try-on is running, to render the garment on you. We don't record it, and it is not used to identify you.

The garment you try: the product link, name, brand, price and image you share, or a garment photo you pick from your gallery. This is stored on your device; the image is sent to our AI provider during the try-on.

Optional details: gender, age range and size. Stored only on your device, never sent to our servers.

Anonymous usage statistics: events such as app opened, try-on started, pack selected, and the brand and price of the product tried. Not linked to your identity; no screen or session recording.

Device verification: Apple's device verification service (DeviceCheck) is used to confirm requests come from the genuine Giyio app and to grant free try-ons only once per device. Apple stores this flag without revealing the device's identity to us; it remains even if you delete your data or reinstall the app.

Clips you save go to your own photo library only; they are not sent to us.

Why we process it

To provide live try-on, manage credits and payments, prevent abuse and fake requests, and understand which parts of the app work so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

Only with providers we use to run the service:

Decart (AI provider): your live camera feed and garment image, during a try-on. Under its own terms, Decart may use these inputs and outputs to improve its models. That's why we ask for your explicit consent before live try-on; you can withdraw it anytime in Settings.

Google Firebase (identity, database and server infrastructure; EU region).

Apple and RevenueCat (processing and verifying in-app purchases). Your payment details stay with Apple; we never see them.

PostHog (anonymous usage statistics; EU servers).

Competent public authorities, where legally required.

International transfers

Our providers' servers are located outside Turkey. Your data is transferred abroad in line with Article 9 of Turkey's data protection law (KVKK); we ask for your explicit consent before your try-on video is sent to our AI provider.

How long we keep it

Camera feed: not stored by us.

Credit and transaction records: until you delete your data. Purchase records may be kept as long as legally required.

Anonymous statistics: up to 1 year.

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Settings → “Delete my data” to erase your data from your device and our servers. You can also email destek@giyio.app.

If you delete your data, unused credits cannot be restored.

Children

Giyio is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 is using the app, we will delete their data.

Security

All connections are encrypted. The AI provider's permanent key is never inside the app; a short-lived access token is issued for each try-on.

Changes and contact

If we update this policy, we'll change the date on this page and announce significant changes in the app.
